IT Business Analyst Compensation & Benefits

What's the role?

In March 2020, we celebrated the successful global go live with Workday as our leading HCM solution, operating in a highly integrated application landscape (cloud, SaaS, PaaS, on-premise). To further strengthen our Global HR IT team, we are looking for an IT Business Analyst for the Workday Core Compensation, Advanced Compensation & Benefit module who plays a vital role in designing, implementing and continuously improving Hilti’s Compensation, Advanced Compensation & Benefit processes and solutions. With your expert knowledge on these modules, you liaise with the Product Owner to create direct impact on the end user experience by translating and implementing complex business requirements into most seamless and simple technical solutions.

Global IT within Hilti is a truly global team with main hubs in Buchs (Switzerland), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and Plano/Tulsa (USA). All locations have highly competent teams who work very closely together. What does the role involve?

Become an integral part of our team of Product Owners, Functional Business Analysts, Technical Business Analysts, and HR business counterparts which are located all over the world. In your role of the IT Business Analyst for Compensation, Advanced Compensation & Benefit, you work closely together with Product Owner to understand business goals, needs and challenges, you translate them into requirements to future IT solutions, clarify technical details, define an approach and successfully implement the solutions with hands-on configuration in defined Sprint cycles. You are involved in international projects and contribute to their success. With your problem-solving attitude you ensure high-quality support to the global user community and use this a source to continuously improve the Workday Core Compensation, Advanced Compensation & Benefit solutions environment and grow yourself.

What you need is:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or related fields; Cumulative Grade Point Average > 3.0 or similar grading is a must
  • Minimum 3+ year experience in Workday project implementation, build/configuration and BAU support
  • Extensive hands-on configuration experience in Workday Core Compensation, Advanced Compensation & Benefit.
  • Configuration experience in other Workday modules such as Core HCM, Security, Absence, Time Tracking, Talent Management, Reporting as a plus.
  • Business process management expertise in HR as a plus.
  • Willingness to challenge status quo and able to communicate and influence stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills paired with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fluent in English (verbally and written)
